I was always told that Motherhood changes a person, trust me it’s so true in my case!!!
I was never the one who went crazy about babies, until I had one myself! Earlier I would just look at a baby and say… “She / he is cute” and leave it at that. But today, being a mother, I just adore these little angels!!!
Having fallen so madly in love with our daughter, I wanted to capture every little thing she does. I took thousands of photos and Videos! I wanted to show off our baby. I got my husband (who’s a graphic designer), to design a website for our daughter. It was beautiful. I pestered him to get a Photo album. Poor guy went all over town and couldn’t find what we were looking for… So my husband decided to make one himself! He made, by his own hands, a wonderful photo illustrated book with our daughters photos. The book was just what I had in my mind. He had used warm red fabric as the cover. The photos were printed on white, chemical free, recycled textured photo paper. Holding this album in my hands, I felt some much closer to the photos than just looking at them on a computer screen. I wanted to share this feeling with all the mothers out there. So I decided to start ‘Tomato’ - producing individually designed handmade photo books.
So here I am… a graphic designer and new mother hopelessly in love with babies- starting tomato.
